Stockport Bulldogs come to Sofia
The Stockport Bulldogs RUFC were in Sofia, Bulgaria for a fun weekend and to play a game of rugby against the Murphys Misfits. It was another beautiful Saturday to play rugby after some rain the night before to keep the ground nice and soft. It was a great game with the Misfits emerging as the winners on the pitch this time. Selly Oaks vs. Murphys Misfits
On April 21 the Selly Oak RFC played a game of rugby on a beautiful sunny day in Bulgaria against the Murphys Misfits. It was a close game with the Selly Oak team gaining a very narrow margin for the win of the game. But it was a win for all involved as it was a perfect day to play a game of rugby and then enjoy some laughs and a few cold beers on the pitch after the game. Murphy’s Misfits Rugby club travel to Serbia
The rugby club traveled to Serbia on March 24 to play the Krusevacs Wolves for the Saint Georges Shield. It was an unfortunate battle that the Misfits not only lost possession of the shield but also lost a player early in the game who suffered a broken jaw. The Misfits were obviously affected by the loss of their player and had to shuffle their lineup to fill the gap. The game ended 33-10 to the Wolves.
