Selly Oaks vs. Murphys Misfits
On April 21 the Selly Oak RFC played a game of rugby on a beautiful sunny day in Bulgaria against the Murphys Misfits. It was a close game with the Selly Oak team gaining a very narrow margin for the win of the game. But it was a win for all involved as it was a perfect day to play a game of rugby and then enjoy some laughs and a few cold beers on the pitch after the game. Will Greenwood plays Rugby in Bulgaria
The OneLife Charity organized a Rugby Tournament in Bulgaria on the 14th of April and Will Greenwood (British Lions and World Cup 2003) attended. It was a beautiful day to play a few games of Rugby in the afternoon at Pernik and then attend a Gala Dinner in the evening at the Military Club in Sofia. Murphy’s Misfits Rugby club travel to Serbia
The rugby club traveled to Serbia on March 24 to play the Krusevacs Wolves for the Saint Georges Shield. It was an unfortunate battle that the Misfits not only lost possession of the shield but also lost a player early in the game who suffered a broken jaw. The Misfits were obviously affected by the loss of their player and had to shuffle their lineup to fill the gap. The game ended 33-10 to the Wolves.
